Invoice Policy and Seller Responsibilities
At PACZKI, sellers are expected to comply with applicable local and state VAT/TAX regulations for all transactions. While PACZKI cannot provide legal or tax advice, we strongly encourage sellers to consult with a qualified tax advisor for guidance regarding VAT/TAX invoice requirements. Please note that PACZKI can only issue invoices for our service fees. For a comprehensive transaction invoice, sellers must request it during the sale process. After the closure of a checkout ticket, we are unable to provide invoices.
Frequently Asked Questions
Conducting Transactions on PACZKI
Our transactions are facilitated through checkout tickets, involving close collaboration between PACZKI agents, buyers, and sellers. The process is as follows:
- PACZKI Fee: The fee varies based on the transaction type and value, ranging from 2-11%.
- Money Transfer Fees: Applicable charges for fund transfers and related bank fees.
Invoices for PACZKI’s service fees are available upon request. For comprehensive invoices, buyers should coordinate with sellers before initiating the checkout ticket process. We also provide transaction summaries for record-keeping, but these are not valid as taxable invoices.
VAT/TAX Invoice Requirements
- For Sellers: It is important to understand whether you are obligated to issue VAT/TAX invoices, as this varies by jurisdiction. We recommend consulting with a tax advisor to ensure compliance.
- Invoicing in the EU: According to the VAT Directive (Articles 217-240), invoices are generally required for most B2B transactions and some B2C transactions. National regulations may also apply.
Uploading Invoices for Buyers
Invoices should either be uploaded within the checkout ticket or sent directly to the buyer. If necessary, you can request a transaction summary from a PACZKI agent.
Essential Invoice Information
Invoices typically need to include the following details:
- Names and addresses of both the buyer and seller.
- Contact information.
- VAT/TAX/EIN numbers, if applicable.
- Transaction ticket number.
- Date and total transaction amount.
For further details, we recommend consulting with your tax advisor.
Determining Tax Amounts
The responsibility for calculating taxes and fees generally falls on the seller. These details should ideally be agreed upon prior to initiating the checkout ticket process.
