Best Practices for User and Staff Tagging

Proper Use of Tags

To ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all users, we kindly ask that you follow these guidelines when using tags on PACZKI:

  1. Avoid Over-Tagging
Please refrain from excessive tagging, particularly when tagging multiple admins, moderators, or users. Over-tagging generates numerous notifications, which can make it difficult for our staff to manage and respond in a timely manner. Additionally, there’s no need to mention a user’s handle in every reply, as users are automatically notified of all responses in a conversation.

  2. When to Use @Administrators
Use the @Administrators tag only if you have not received a response from an admin after a reasonable period. Please note that tagging @Administrators will notify all seven admins, even those who may not be directly involved with your issue. Be mindful of this to avoid unnecessary notifications.

  3. Site-Wide Tags
Please be aware that only staff members can view site-wide tags. If you tag a user in a private message who is not part of the conversation, they will not receive a notification. However, in public topics, tagging users will send them a notification as expected.

By adhering to these guidelines, you help foster a more organized and efficient communication environment for both users and staff. Thank you for your cooperation.
